Hard-Wire Kit
 
For 265V units.
 
Directs wire to the unit when it is not 
ideal to use the standard unit sub-base 
or unit power cord. 
 
A junction box provides a protected 
enclosure for electrical connections 
(required by some electrical codes) and 
can be mounted before or after the 
wall sleeve is mounted and the unit 
chassis is installed in the wall sleeve. 
 
The junction box is furnished with 
approximately 3½’ of ½” flexible steel 
conduit and a 90° conduit clamp for 
securing the conduit to the unit cabinet 
at the electrical access opening. 
 
Follow national or local codes regarding 
flush, surface or recessed mounting of 
boxes.
